Roamer

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Roamer came to the shelter as an owner surrender. He's a 5 year old mix of shih tzu, poodle, and maybe some bichon. He has a somewhat thick, curly coat that will require regular grooming and he did come to us needing a bit of a haircut. Roamer is a friendly guy who is a little freaked out right now by the big change in his life. It's totally understandable. He will be vet checked and neutered on Jan. 23rd and his fee is $150. Roamer is looking for a home in which he won't be left alone too long. He has done well with other dogs of similar size and cats, too. He should be okay around kids over 5 years old. A potential adopter should be prepared for the grooming that he'll require. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
