Meet Roger This compact little dude is approximately 9-10 years old and 44 pounds. He is the sweetest guy and seems so gentle. His paperwork at the shelter lists him as six but the vet thinks he's a senior citizen!! Roger loved his photo shoot in his Christmas PJs!! He was such a good boy and we hope his dream of a family for Christmas comes true. We also learned he can catch treats like a champ. Roger was surrendered to the shelter by his family after they got a new puppy. Sadly, he was placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. We clearly don’t think he had the best life as he has no fur, or at least very little. He’s been checked by vets and has nothing contagious, just poor treatment. Now that he is under care he has started to ever so slowly grow back some hair, but we don’t know for sure that he’ll ever be able to grow a full coat. Looking for a family that won’t treat him as disposable, because he has all the love in the world to give you. He gives the sloppiest kisses! He does well with other dogs, but could certainly be an only dog in his new home, since he loves the attention so much.
