Rolo

Rolo is a happy, fun loving, goofy 7 month old, 35lb Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who loves cuddling, going on walks and adventures, and hanging out with his people! Rolo is named after the chocolate because of his beautiful brown coat, and because he's sweet as candy! Rolo was brought to our local high kill shelter as a stray after being found on the streets. Despite looking relatively healthy on the outside, he was riddled with worms and parasites. Rolo quickly found himself on the euthanasia list due to length of stay and lack of space, and we knew we couldn't let this well-mannered young boy have that fate. Rolo shows his appreciation for being saved every day, with his carefree demeanor and zest for life! Rolo loves to play in the yard with his doggy friends and play with toys, especially the squeaky kinds! When he's not playing, Rolo loves to be next to his people and get attention. He thoroughly enjoys getting pets and is very polite about asking for love. He already knows sit and is a very smart boy! Rolo is potty and crate trained and is a quick learner with new commands and tricks. He is great with other dogs and while he hasn't been tested with kids or cats, we think he would do great with both. He has a pretty chill personality and loves to lounge! Rolo is not expected to grow much more and will stay a fun-sized medium boy! Rolo is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
