My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/gener. You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Roman (ROM0125ALAMN) Estimated Breed: Standard Poodle (AKC, but not registered) Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 55 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet handsome Roman! This gorgeous guy has a style that's truly his own! Always up for an adventure, Roman has a zest for life that is limitless. He gets along great with just about any dog, but cats may be a bit puzzled by his playful advances. He is good with children too and does best with kids ages 3 and over. Roman is crate trained and has received regular grooming since he was a puppy. He is a very adaptable fella, and his friendliness and love for life will make him the perfect companion for one lucky adopter. With Roman, every day is an adventure, so why not fill out an application now and let the adventure begin! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at [email protected] SPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!
