ESTIMATED AGE: estimated at 2 years old KNOWN WITH DOGS: Romeo gets along with other dogs. He's lived with several dogs before. KNOWN WITH CATS: Unknown. We can find out how he does with cats if asked. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Romeo is a very friendly dog. He is excited to meet new people. He is doing a great job learning NOT to jump up to say hi. KNOWN COMMANDS: We are learning what commands he knows. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Romeo is house trained and is getting comfortable settling down in his crate. KNOWN LIKES: Romeo is a friendly boy who enjoys meeting people and going on walks. KNOWN DISLIKES: We don't yet know what Romeo dislikes. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Romeo is an outgoing and active 2 year old calahoula mix with a very handsome merle colored coat. He is a skinny 63 lbs. A good weight for him is probably 70 lbs. Romeo loves other dogs and loves to play. He is living in a home with school aged kids. Romeo walks well on the leash. He is getting more comfortable with going into his crate. Romeo was living with other dogs before he was surrendered to a rural shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. Romeo is living in a foster home and eager to find his forever home.
