My Story

“It’s a love story, baby just say yes” - if this sounds like you, allow us to introduce our very own “Romeo fittingly named to be the hero in your story! He has been vetted, neutered and microchipped and is ready to make "his way through the crowd” and home to you! If you’re thinking that your family is ready for a truly special boy, read on for his story and instructions on how to add him to your lives! Please also check out his siblings Jose and Taylor! Here is what we know about this “prince” of a pup: - He is @ 4 months old now, and weighs approximately 21lbs! - Our vet believes that he is a Lab mix, and will be medium/large when full grown - Romeo and his siblings have been thriving in foster care for the last few weeks and are ready to land in their forever homes! Foster mom says they are are very sweet group of pups just looking for a home to call their own. - Romeo is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health - Romeo is a very smart young lad – we expect him to pick up training very quickly! He is already using a doggy door to go potty outside, and is working on his leash training - Romeo and his siblings are still puppies, so will need their future homes to work with them on training and reinforcements. - Romeo loves other dogs, and would do great with a playmate at home who is willing to engage in playtime. Romeo has been exposed to dogs of all sizes in foster care, and is a very social boy! - Romeo hasn’t been exposed to cats, but we think he would do just fine with a “dog savvy” cat who could tolerate some puppy antics! - Because Romeo and his siblings are full of puppy antics, we are recommending that they go to a family with kids 6 and up, or dog savvy family who understands puppy boundaries. Romeo has been exposed to children and has done well. -We would love to see Romeo go to an active home that will have lots of dedicated playtime as he grows! What we love about Romeo: He is super cuddly, and is a beautiful black/brown chocolate color! Is Romeo the one for you? He's got his doggie bags packed and is ready to make his way home to you! His adoption fee is $500! That covers all of his vetting and care up until the point of adoption. If interested, please reach out to Brittany @ [email protected], and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link! *Paws & Claws New England, a/k/a Paws and Claws Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers and fosters who devote their time and love to help save homeless dogs and cats.
