My Story

Meet Rooster: A Sweet and Gentle Soul Rooster is a calm and quiet Shiba Inu who is as gentle as they come. He's wonderful with other dogs, bringing a peaceful and social energy to any playgroup. Though he's on the quieter side, he's incredibly sweet and easy to handle, making him a joy to be around. Rooster adores the comfort of soft beds and is already making great progress on potty training, which will surely be completed once he's settled in his new home. While he doesn't walk on a leash just yet, his love for treats will make training a breeze. This gentle boy is looking for a loving family to call his own-could that be you? Rooster is ready to fill your life with calm companionship and endless sweetness. - - - - - Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
