My Story

Rooster is ready to flee the coop. this handsome young Doberman is seeking a breed experienced or similar experienced adopter. Rooster is both dog and people social. He is a sensitive, sweet guy who has been working on his confidence building and basic obedience. He loves food, and is super food motivated which makes his training even easier (and fun)! Rooster is crate trained and fostered with several dogs. He does well playing with others, but also enjoys just hanging out. He thrives with structure and clear boundries. Rooster loves to cuddle up on the couch and loves chasing toys. He is sweet, affectionate and playful Rooster is approx 2 years old and diluted blue in color. Due to this color typically being bred for looks, not health concern, Rooster has color dilated alopecia as result. This does not impact his daily life, and reflexs as a thinner coat in some areas that may require some extra skin maintenance than the typical Doberman. Rooster is seeking a home without children. He is uncomfortable around them and has shown he is not suited to live with them. Rooster is also seeking no cats or x-small dogs. Rooster is fostered in Philadelphia suburbs (Montgomery County) with adoption radius of approx 1-2 hours. His adopters must have breed experience or similar working/guardian breed exp.
