My Story

“Of all flowers, methinks a rose is best." – William Shakespeare Raise your hand if you want a cuddle buddy! Raise your hand if you'd like a playmate! My name is Rosie, and I hope you will pick me to be your best pal! I am a 5-month-old adorable Dachshund gal. Since I'm just a puppy, I am still working on house, crate, and leash training, and so far it is going well. Naturally, I have a lot of puppy energy, but I also love to snuggle up next to my people. I like dogs, kids, and even cats. My forever home needs another dog friend for me to play and cuddle with and a fenced yard for us to play in. So if you are ready to cuddle and play...I am your gal! Fill out an application today!! **As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out** My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out* **Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.** Don't forget to LIKE us on Facebook!-www.facebook.com/rescueonespringfield *Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home. We are a foster-based organization, and we need more fosters to help us save more animals! If you’re interested in saving lives just like the one you’re reading about, fill out a foster app here.
