Rosie

Rosie is looking for her forever home! She is a 14 month old Boxer who loves everyone she meets! Rosie is a very typical boxer puppy with a lot of energy. She is a very quick learner and food motivated. She has learned to sit, lay down/settle using treats as reinforcement. She will also sit and wait for her food bowl to be placed down. She has been working on her harness/leash skills with great results, however this will need continued work as she is just learning. Rosie is dog/cat friendly, but has shown a desire to chase chickens. She has not been around children in her foster home, but because she does like to put her paws up on everything we think a home with older children would be best. She loves toys, finding sticks, chasing Jolly Balls & napping in sunny spots. She is not a fan of being crated during the day but does sleep crated through the night without incident. Rosie is learning about housetraining- she only occasionally has accidents. She seems to get the concept, but doesn't know how to communicate that she wants to go out and her accidents are by the door. Rosie is extremely lovable and craves affection. She needs a home with a fenced yard and an active family who can keep up with her energy level. She is full grown and weighs about 50 pounds.
