My Story

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying. Thank you for your cooperation. NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS - NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 1/21/2025: Rotini - female - approx 8 years old - 7.10 pounds - Maltese Reason for intake: Rotini is an owner-surrender. Her original owner passed away and she was headed to animal control so the current owner took her in. They are; however, in the process of moving and cannot keep her so we took her in. Please no negative comments. Rotini is headed to our vet on Thursday 1/23/2025, for everything she needs including spay and much-needed dental. She's very sweet. Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." ~ Gandhi Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
