Roxie

Roxie is the sweetest, most affectionate little chihuahua. She is 6 years old and is an owner surrender. Roxie lived with the same family since she was an 8 week old puppy. She has a few quirks such as doing excited spins when she wants to go outside and licking her person constantly. Roxie likely has a little anxiety which is why she will sit and lick her person on the hand or foot constantly. Her foster mom doesn't mind it and we are looking for a person who will also not mind that kind of affection. Roxie also likes other dogs but will try to lick them as well. If you have another small dog that wouldn't mind an affectionate companion, Roxie might be a good fit. Roxie is terrified of the vet and groomer and will need an experienced small dog owner who has had a dog with similar issues. Roxie has escaped from every harness we have tried to put on her. Because of that, Roxie needs a secure fenced yard and a person who will be home a lot. Roxie is good with cats. Her foster mom has kittens and Roxie is gentle and playful with the kittens. Roxie will do her business outside but also uses a pee pad inside.
