Ruby

Ruby is a polite and beautiful 1-year-old retriever-shepherd-mix that was brought to the shelter by her owners for exhibiting a very normal puppy behavior....chewing. She is a little a shy at first and does flinch with quick movements, so Ruby may do best with a patient owner that uses positive reinforcement in training. We've found Ruby to be very friendly, to both people and other dogs, and seems very interested in making friends! Her breed mix is known for intelligence so we think with a little love, Ruby will become the well-trained, loyal companion she's destined to be! As with all puppies, Ruby will need some patience and guidance as she learns the rules of her new home, but she's going to make a wonderful member of almost any family! Meet-and-greets with the whole family are always welcome and encouraged.
