My Story

Social Miss Rue is what we'd call a 'forever puppy'! She LOVES being cuddled, coddled, and loved on by anyone AND anything! Whether it's other dogs, of all shapes and sizes, or even cats! She only ever wants to make more friends!! Rue has such a lovable, darling personality as she matches EVERYONE'S energy, whether you want to snuggle, play, chill out, she is IN! At about 9 months old, and only about 45 pounds, we know she will FIT into just about any home, but are you ready to share your bed, your sofa, your blankets, AND give her all the fun under the sun? With this girl that's not too difficult! Challenging her brain with treat puzzles, training, or even kongs with peanut butter wear her out quicker than all else! Not to mention her LOVE for playing fetch! Due to Rue's amazing behavior, we believe she is house-broken, and we KNOW she's crate trained, AND knows her simple commands with the lure of a treat! My adoption fee is only $310! This fee covers all of my vaccines, microchip, nex/heartguard, heartworm test, AND my spay/neuter! Think I might be the perfect fit for your home? You can apply for me here https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/ OR you can apply in person when you come visit me any day during business hours! You can even adopt me that same day once approved!! Please Note: All adoptions are on a first-come first served basis with approved adoption applicants. We do not hold animals unless the adoption is out-of-state, and fees apply. The animal's welfare is our first and only priority, in doing so, they are moved from the shelter into their respective homes as quickly, & humanely as possible to remove the risk of undergoing extreme stress, immune system compromission, & behavioral concerns. DISCLAIMER: Genetic Breed accuracy is NOT guaranteed; we assess by the following: Interview with or paperwork from with the previous owner Intake evaluation observations (behavior, physical appearance, and energy level) Source documents from which to analyze characteristics Consultation with other staff
