Meet handsome Rupert! He was surrendered to the shelter on 2/11. The person who turned him in apparently found him abandoned in a park back in December. We're not sure why they kept him for several months and then decided to surrender him. They unfortunately didn't leave any information when they dropped him off. Rupert is now hoping for a fresh start in a forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Rupert as friendly and attentive to the people around him. He's a very good boy and we imagine he'll enjoy an active family who will include him in all of life's adventures. If you have room in your heart and home for Rupert, please come meet him!
Rupert is approximately 1.5 years old, and he weighs 46 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Rupert is waiting patiently in run 875; his ID # is 8071.
