Rusty

Meet Rusty! He’s is a one-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix weighing 50 lbs. When Rusty came into our program, he was extremely shut down and timid. He has been working hard on his confidence building with our staff and his sweet and silly personality is beginning to shine through. Rusty enjoys spending time outside, going for walks around the neighborhood, and leaning in for cuddles. We have discovered that Rusty loves playing with small pups and would love to have one in his forever home, if possible. He is currently working on his basics and will thrive with a patient adopter willing to work with him to build his confidence and continue training as he grows! Rusty has been undergoing medical treatment for an old fracture in his shoulder which is covered by Wags and Walks and he is expected to make a full recovery. He will need an adopter who is willing to continue his healing journey and allow proper time for rest. If you’re looking for a sweet pup with so much love to give, consider Rusty!
