Hey everyone! My name is Rusty! I am a 5 year old Boston terrier that was pulled from a local shelter for some sad reasons. Before we get into that, let me tell you about myself! I am a beautiful red and white Boston terrier, I weigh about 20 pounds, and my foster mom said I am FAST. I like to zip around the whole house and the whole yard and I have a blast with everything I do! She said I have perfect house manners, perfect crate manners, I’m great with every dog she has including the small puppies, and I’m wonderful with the house kitty! She said anyone would really be lucky to have me! Let me get to my sad part. I previously lived with a very elderly woman, and not for very long. She invited over a friend with a dog and my bag of dog food was in the floor. I have a previous eye injury only on one eye that does NOT cause me any problems however we are thinking that could’ve added to the problem. When the other dog was being mean to me over MY food, my old mom tried to get us apart and I bit her hand. It wasn’t a bad bite at all; she needed a bandaid however she still dropped me off at the shelter. Because of this, unchained souls said I need a home with no small kids but teenagers would be fine. My foster mama has no problems feeding me and she even shares her healthy people snacks with me and there aren’t any issues. I love everyone I meet! I’m hoping to find a good family who understands that I might just need to make sure my bag of food is put up like my foster mom does now. Other than this one single incident, I’ve always been a wonderful happy silly spunky boy.
