Ruth is an absolute sweetheart who's quiet, gentle, and a dream to have around. She's wonderfully house-trained and has adjusted beautifully to her household routine. Ruth loves chew toys and is especially happy when food or treats are involved-she enjoys an easy treat puzzle to keep her mind active. This little lady is a fan of nice weather and loves spending time outdoors. While Ruth gets along well with other dogs (she just needs a couple of days to get comfortable), she's also content being independent. She'll happily cuddle up beside you on the couch or curl up in a chair on her own. She's very respectful of your space, preferring to approach you at her own pace, and will back away if you come to her too quickly. Ruth responds well to her name and understands "no. Though she doesn't voluntarily go into her crate, she settles quietly and peacefully once she's inside. Ruth would be a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a low-key, affectionate dog who's happy to keep you company without being overly demanding.
