PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - SADIE BREED - Chihuahua/Papillon mix SIZE - About 10 pounds AGE - 10+ years GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Sadie is a wonderful little lady seeking the companionship of a wonderful adopter! Not only is she adorable, but she is super sweet. Sadie is both quiet, and clean, and a perfect little sweetheart that would be happy beside her special person enjoying a quiet life. Sadie came to us from a shelter in south central NC with another senior girl that had been in her home. We believe they were surrendered together to the shelter when their owner passed away. Fully grown at just about 10 pounds, she is a perfect size for most homes! Sadie is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. We are seeking a home with an adopter able to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time with her. A home without larger pets or small children, and with a fenced, secure yard will be in Sadie's best interest. She will make a wonderful companion for a senior person who is able to care for her independently. Our adoption process starts with your email to [email protected] or Petfinder inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Sadie and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Sadie at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
