My Story

Meet Sadie! Sadie came to CCHS at the beginning of January after her owner was deemed not fit to take care of her anymore. This high-spirited gal is a Beagle/Border Collie mix and is just over a year old! Sadie is a smart pup with a lot of energy to burn so she would benefit greatly from an active family with space for her to run. She tends to be on the shy side with strangers, but once she gets to know you it's all love from there! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Sadie today! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.
