Meet Safiya! A tiny bundle of energy and joy, always on the move and ready to make friends! This wiggly, bouncy puppy greets everyone with a wagging tail and soft, eager eyes. She adores attention, happily hopping from person to person, and she allows all handling with ease. Still full of playful puppy energy, Safiya is working on her manners-she doesn't know how to sit just yet, and she's vocal when she wants treats - which she takes with enthusiasm!. Highly treat-motivated, she's eager to learn, though her excitement sometimes leads to jumping up with her sharp little puppy claws. Training and consistency will be great for Safiya to learn how to be the best girlie! When it comes to play, Safiya is all in! Whether it's romping around or tossing toys, she's always ready for fun. She's definitely a little timid but remains curious. She was either sniffing around the yard or coming up for pets! She's really light and would try and get in my arms! She took treats very gently. She was easy to leash and get her in and out of her crate with a little treat negotiating. 02/21/2025 volunteer notes: took Safiya out for some sunshine today and she is such a happy, wiggly, silly girl. She loves treats more than anything - she's pretty skinny so that tracks - but she's never grabby or demanding. She walked well on her leash for how lil and spunky she is. Overall a super fun and very cute puppy! 02/21/2025 staff notes: KENNEL PRESENTATION: Safiya was in a side bank curled up and came forward with a wiggling body when she saw the handler. She was easy to leash and came right out once secured. LEASH SKILLS: Pulls minimally HANDLING : In the room, Safiya was very loose and wiggly, bouncing from person to person with a wagging tail and soft eyes. She allowed all handling and was just a wild and active puppy. She does not know how to sit and is vocal when she wants treats. She takes treats snatchy and is very treat motivated. She likes to jump up with her puppy claws, climb tables and chairs, and is the smallest and cutest baby girl.
