My Story

Hello! My name is Sage, and I'm a 2.5-year-old female Bernedoodle with a striking black and white coat. Weighing in at 70 pounds, I might be big, but I think I'm a lap dog! I'm spayed, up to date on my vaccinations as of July 2024, and current on my heartworm prevention. I'm potty and leash trained, making me a great companion for walks and indoor cuddles. I'm good with children and other dogs, and I'm curious about cats and love to play with them. I haven't shown any aggressive behavior towards other animals, so I'm pretty easygoing. My personality is sweet and loving, and I absolutely adore cuddles and attention. I do have some separation anxiety and don't like loud noises. When I'm out for a walk, I might lunge at other pets because I just want to say hi. I do have some medical needs, including consistent hot spots on my paws and severe allergies. I require a salmon grain-free diet with pre/probiotics due to my sensitive stomach. My medical care costs range between $250-$500 a month, depending on hot spot outbreaks. Visiting an allergist might help manage my medical needs more effectively and reduce costs. Currently, I'm being fostered in Virginia Beach, VA, but can be transported out of state for the right home. If you're looking for a sweet, loving, and playful companion who loves to cuddle, I'm your girl! Let's make some wonderful memories together. Must be 21 or older to apply.
