My Story
Life’s a stage, and I’m here to steal the spotlight with my zoomies, my wagging tail, and my puppy-like antics. Are you ready to be the Annie to my Sandy? You guessed it, I'm Sandy, a scrappy, high-energy Dachshund-Beagle mix with a heart of gold and a spirit that just won’t quit. At two and a half years old and 23 pounds, I’m playful, bouncy, and always ready for adventure. Much like my namesake from Annie, I’ve got a lot of spunk and a little bit of mischief. Sitting still isn’t really my thing—I’m always on the go, jumping, running, and spreading joy wherever I can.
Now, I do have a few quirks. I don’t like to share my food, toys, or treats, so if you’ve got other dogs, you’ll need to feed me separately and keep an eye on my prized chew bones. I’m not sure how I feel about other dogs in general, but I’m fine with kids—they’ll love my energy and playful nature. Cats, though? Hard pass.
I’ll need a home with a privacy-fenced yard where I can run and play safely, and a family who understands that my high energy is just part of my charm. I may act a little rough around the edges, but I’m house-trained, sweet as can be, and ready to be someone’s best friend forever.
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
