Sarge came to us when a family member of the owner turned him in as a stray, but we received information from another animal control agency letting us know who the owner was and that Sarge had lived his life on a chain with little to no training. Sarge has some things that need work such as leash walking and food aggression. He loves to play and loves his person once he warms up. We have an amazing local trainer that we recommend his adopter to use. She will be able to help him with his issues and help him to be the best dog we know he can be. He may be ok with other dogs his size but at this time we would like for him to be the only pet, unless the adopter has already scheduled him with the trainer.
