Scarf’s mama was a stray that gave birth under someone's house in a rural town we help. The owner of the home contacted us to ask for help. The puppies were about 4 weeks old when our volunteer picked them up to foster them. The mama was missing her back foot, and we don’t know how that happened. She is with a foster too, and has had surgery to remove her leg. Scarf is 8 weeks old now, and is ready to find her forever family.
Scarf is being fostered with adult dogs and cats. She does great with them. She is learning how to walk on a leash and she sleeps in a crate with one of her siblings. She is playful, sweet and loves everyone she meets.
We think Scarf is a Husky or Australian Shepherd mix, and she weighs 7 pounds. She is 8 weeks old. Her mother weighs 41 pounds, so Scarf will likely be around the same weight when she’s full grown.
Scarf has been vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
She can arrive in Montana on January 12. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt
