Our hearts hurt for Schmitty! His owner no longer had time for him and he arrived to the shelter on 12/21. Schmitty is 9 years young and weighs in at 18 pounds. He is so precious! He knows to sit especially if you have a treat. He gives all his attention to his person. He has only one eye but it does not slow this boy down. It is reported that he is house trained, good with cats and dogs. Does your heart hurt for Schmitty too? Would you give him a home for his golden years? Ask for ID# 7099 Run 322. He will not be neutered at the shelter due to his age. He will be micro-chipped and he tested negative for heart worm. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
