Scooter
Adopted
Breed
Pit Bull Terrier & Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix
DNA results are in for Princess, who is Scooters sister! According to Wisdom Panel, they are a mix of 9 different breeds with the top breeds being Pit Bull, Australian Cattle Dog and Weimaraner! Scooter is 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He is crate trained and potty trained and does not need to be adopted together. This is what his foster mom has to say about this handsome boy. Scooter is a very sweet cuddle bug and loves to puppy play with his sister, Princess. He is very smart and a good listener and obeys when asked to stop or come. He loves to play with toys, especially stuffed animals. He has not been cat tested, but gets along with kids and all other dogs. He would love to become a part of your family! Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
