Meet Serrano! Serrano is a petite Terrier mix, currently weighing around 30 lbs, with an estimated date of birth in May 2021. This sweet girl made her way to our shelter after a good Samaritan found her wandering all by herself. Despite our efforts to find her previous owner through social media, no one came forward to claim her. Now, Serrano is ready to find a loving home and family to call her own! From day one, Serrano has been the definition of a “good girl.” She absolutely loves and craves human affection, interaction, and approval. Whether you’re spending time with her in our meet and greet room or in the outdoor dog run, she will follow you around like a loyal sidekick. Serrano would be a great companion for all kinds of fun activities – festivals, walks or hikes in local parks, or even lounging at home binge-watching your favorite series. She just loves to share any moment with you. Serrano does a great job keeping her kennel nice and tidy throughout the day. While she may have the occasional overnight accident, it’s only because she has to hold it longer overnight here than she would in a home environment. She is very treat-motivated and super smart, so picking up house training should be an easy task for her. As you can see in one of her pictures, Serrano loves to run around and play with toys.
