Shadow is a 10 month old, 34 lb male, Labrador Retriever mix.
Shadow is currently located in South Texas and will be transported.
This handsome guy is Shadow, so named because he is a solid black beauty. He is one fun loving guy, a bit on the small side, which just makes him extra cuddly. He was rescued as a stray and had shared his foster home with a much larger but very friendly foster pup, who took the little pup under his paw and really mentored him. Shadow's foster buddy has now been adopted, so Shadow is actually enjoying all the extra attention at his foster home, the stinker! Shadow shares his foster home with several cats, and gets along great with them, (he can even share his meals with the kitties - I mean, talk about cat friendly!) and also enjoys the occasional doggy visitors. He loves playing tug of war, fetch and jumping around, showing off his agile moves. He also loves water (hello, Labrador!) and no longer has to share his little pool. Shadow really enjoys being outdoors zooming around the yard and looking for squirrels (and balls), so he would do best in a home with at least a small yard. He is both house broken and crate trained, and enjoys a tasty carrot snack if he can get one. He is a smart boy who would love an active home where he could venture out on hikes or long walks, and maybe a trip to the dog park. He loves his daily walks, and could probably be a great running buddy! He is a sweet boy who loves pets and cuddles, and would dearly love to have his very own home. He would do wonderfully in a cooler environment where he could play in the snow, or splash around outside on a rainy day. This guy has outgrown the crazy baby shark stage, but as an older puppy, he has plenty of play in him! If you are interested in meeting Shadow, he would love to meet you too!
