PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION SHAGGY IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IA. Shaggy was rescued from a large-scale dog rescue after being cared for by an elderly man who recently passed away. When his son reached out to find homes for the dogs, Shaggy was given a chance to start fresh—and now he’s looking for his forever family. Shaggy is a loving and affectionate dog who enjoys playful moments, especially at night. He loves to jump and play with his dog companion, and he's making great progress with potty training—using pads indoors and going outside when taken. Shaggy is highly aware of his surroundings and thrives around calm, low-energy dogs and people. He enjoys receiving head scratches and will eagerly soak up any attention you give him. Shaggy’s foster family has two older children, and he would do well in a house with children as long as they are respectful and give him space to adjust Shaggy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, heartworm negative, dewormed, and microchipped.
