Shai is a special 2-year-old girl who came to us after her previous owner abandoned her at our rescue. Understandably, the changes in her life have left her feeling a little nervous and shy when meeting new people. But don't worry--Shai is quick to warm up, and with time and patience, she'll blossom into the confident and social pup we know she can be. Active and incredibly agile, Shai is capable of jumping impressively high. Her future adopter will need to ensure she's always in a secure environment to keep her safe. While she gets along with other dogs overall, Shai has a strong alpha personality and would thrive as either the only dog in her home or with a canine companion that matches her energy. Due to her need for structure and time to adjust, Shai would do best in a home without young children, though older, respectful kids might be a good fit.
