Sheba

Meet Sheba, an incredibly sweet, docile, and affectionate Chow Chow mix. Sheba is extremely sweet and loving. She has an utterly contagious happy personality which her foster family just adore. Her eyes tell you how grateful she is to have been saved and given a second chance to have a wonderful, relaxed life. She doesn’t feel the need to always be on top of her people, but she does enjoy being in the company of her humans. We know that she is going to make a family so happy. Sheba is the Queen of Sploots in her foster home. Her fluffy coat indicates that she might enjoy life in the Northeast, but she equally appreciates the cold tiles and air-conditioning of her Texas foster home. She loves to roll around on the couch making silly noises, bringing smiles to her fosters’ faces. Sheba loves to spend time outdoors and has mastered the doggie door! She will need leash work with her forever family since she lacks experience, but she’s not high energy so her forever family won’t need to worry about walking her for hours every day! Sheba is great with other dogs of all sizes, even little dogs! We couldn’t recommend that she share her forever home with cats, but she is great with kiddos. We would like to see her go to a home with kiddos over 8, simply due to her size and her dislike for sharing her food! Sheba is around 1.5 years old and weighs 50lbs. Sheba is housetrained and trained to sleep overnight in a kennel. That said, her foster family trust her so much that they leave her to sleep wherever she chooses. Sheba loves her food, including treats and meals. She actually loves her food so much that she is becoming protective of it, so we recommend that she be fed separately from any dog siblings. She hasn’t discovered toys yet, but we hope that she will with time! If you are looking for a perfect sweetheart to join your family, look no further!
