Shelby

Shelby was found near an abandoned house with a litter of newborn puppies. They were taken to a rural shelter we help, and they were all in very bad condition. One of the puppies didn’t survive the night, so we knew they needed to be rescued quickly. We met Shelby at the shelter the next day, and she was such a good girl. We were able to find her and her babies a foster home to save them. She has been in our care since November. All of her babies have been adopted and she has completed her veterinary care. Now, Shelby is ready to find her forever home too. Shelby is being fostered with other dogs and children . She is great with all of them. She has been with children 5 and older. She is a very affectionate girl and loves any attention she can get. She likes to cuddle with her people and get pets. She is house trained and knows how to sit on command, Shelby is an American Staffordshire Terrier. She weighs 55 pounds, and she is 2 years old now. Shelby has been spayed , vaccinated for DHPP, rabies vaccinated, bordetella vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention. She can arrive in Idaho on February 15.
