Our next transport date will be Friday/Saturday, August 16th and 17th. Please see below for pick-up locations. We cannot do meet and greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long and it's too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to return to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. This is Shirley. She is a Heeler mix we believe with possibly some pointer and Terrier in the mix. She is crate trained and potty trained. She is a very sweet girl. She is good with other dogs and has a cat friend here. I can't say enough how affectionate this girl is. Very friendly and happy. Nothing seems to phase her. She was left behind with her sister when their family moved. They lived several months on their own with the help of kind people feeding them. They never left their house and just kept waiting for their family to return. They were hesitant to leave when we picked them up but were very happy to be with people again. Shirley was totally failed by her first family but is patiently waiting for the family that will love her forever. Shirley has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on flea and tick prevention. If you are interested in one of our dogs, please do not delay completing the application. There is always a high interest in our puppies, and applications are processed for approvals as they are received when at all possible. Sun Prairie, and Fon Du Lac, WI. *St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, IL (this pick-up will be Friday evening). Springfield, Bloomington, and Oglesby pick-ups are also Friday evening. **Green Bay and Sheboygan adopters will meet us in Fon Du Lac. ***Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby or Roscoe, IL. ****MILWAUKEE _ We don’t have a Milwaukee stop this time but do have 2 stops in WI and will be stopping in Roscoe, IL. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3; proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All our dogs will be in foster care in Texas until they are adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do our best based on the appearance of the pup and the mother if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies and litters of puppies can have more than one father.
