Our next transport date will be Friday/Saturday, August 16th and 17th. Please see below for pick-up locations. We cannot do meet and greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long and it's too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to return to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. This is Shorty the cutest little stocky Plott hound mix ever. He is pretty sure he is a lap dog, and you will have a hard time convincing him otherwise. He is the epitome of a sweet and loving boy. He likes to do zoomies from time to time but would much rather be a little house hippo. He loves love. He has no interest in cats and is good with dogs. He was abandoned with his siblings in an awful little shack in the woods. Fending for themselves for quite a while. Somehow this didn't seem to cause him any trust issues and he is just the most affectionate boy ever. He has the most amazing tiger strip brindle coloring I have ever seen. He was recently neutered and is current on all vaccination. He is potty trained, and crate trained. He weighs 42 lbs. and his approximate birthday is August 2023. He is as big as he will be. There is always a high interest in our puppies, and applications are processed for approvals as they are received when at all possible. Sun Prairie, and Fon Du Lac, WI. *St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, IL (this pick-up will be Friday evening). Springfield, Bloomington, and Oglesby pick-ups are also Friday evening. **Green Bay and Sheboygan adopters will meet us in Fon Du Lac. ***Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby or Roscoe, IL. ****MILWAUKEE _ We don’t have a Milwaukee stop this time but do have 2 stops in WI and will be stopping in Roscoe, IL. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3; proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All our dogs will be in foster care in Texas until they are adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do our best based on the appearance of the pup and the mother if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies and litters of puppies can have more than one father.
