Meet Sid, the adorable 12 year old male Chihuahua mix seeking his forever home with a special someone! This 12 pound pooch has been with us for a while now and he's finally ready to move onto his forever home. Sid has been in a foster home with one of our wonderful trainers and is doing great! His lovely foster mom reports that Sid is a good little boy who is pretty easy-going. He did show some behavioral issues at the shelter and did prove to have some grumpy moments, however in a home he has been doing splendid if he is given space. Sid is an independent pup, so if you're looking for a companion that isn't needy, then he's your boy! He does sometimes prefer his space and isn't a fan being grabbed, so go slow and let him know what you're going to do! At home Sid is fabulous at listening to commands such as "come," "kennel," and "go outside." He is in love with his crate, a comfy bed, and obviously treats! Need a chill dog? Sid fits the bill perfectly! He enjoys lounging on the couch near his human(s) and cuddling with his favorite toys. Sid is housebroken, as well as crate trained. He gets along well with other dogs but doesn't engage or play with them. Sid cannot go home with children.
