My Story

Sierra is a 1.5 year old, 14 lb. Shih Tzu mix. Sweet Sierra is just the total package! One look into those big, brown eyes and you'll be hooked. She is the perfect mix of playful and loving. She gets along with the dogs in her foster home, but is definitely a flirt with the boys! She has the best time running around and playing in her yard and would love to find a home where she can continue to do that. If you're looking for a walking buddy, Sierra would love to join you! She is great on a leash and polite when meeting new people and dogs. Sierra is also crate-trained and potty-trained. When it's time to wind down, Sierra will happily snuggle up with you on the couch and give kisses. She is a cuddler at heart and takes that job very seriously! It's going to be a cold winter, but grab the blankets and hot cocoa, Sierra will keep you warm! Apply to meet her today! Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!
