My Story

Found roaming Route 60, sweet Sixty is a majorly cuddly guy! He is very wiggly and happy to see anyone who crosses his path, rolling on the ground for immediate belly rubs. Sixty has grown up in the shelter, so he has a lot of learning to do. But this guy is SO willing to learn and will be a lot of fun to teach. He does very well with dogs who can match his play style, but Sixty can be a bully and must be supervised with other animals. Sixty loves children despite his size. The best kind of home for Sixty: Sixty needs a lot of help learning how to exist in the world, including house training, as he has spent most of his life with us. Like any adolescent pup, he will require a family dedicated to nurturing and teaching him to be a dog. He does well with other dogs and cats who can handle his energy. Sixty has not had a lot of socialization and does not always respect social cues from other dogs. He should be supervised when with other animals. He has a hard time understanding boundaries with other dogs and would likely do better as the only one in the house. Sixty could live with another dog if his family is willing to manage his overarousal. He should not be left unattended outside of a crate.
