My Story

Skipper is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds. He and his siblings were dumped in a crate outside of a rescuer's home. Skipper is sweet sweet sweet, and after a short time to adjust he is happy, wagging, tail outgoing social boy! A typical happy puppy, that is enjoying his toys and his soft bed! Skipper has the BEST underbite ever! His pictures look like a mug shot from the mafia! He has really come out of his shell, and is hilarious! Watch updated video of him and the crew playing! UPDATED VIDEO! https://youtu.be/7TOyLnWxI6g?si=dZToXCdqpU21HaQf He gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. He is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call his own! He has the cutest underbite and grumpy old man face. Skipper is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Petersburg, FL on February 22nd. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. If you would like to add this grumpy-faced cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* Skipper tested positive for Chagas disease and has started his treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
