My Story

Hi I'm Skog pronounced SKOOG lol! They call me that since it is the Swedish word for forest as every time I see a trail or patch of woods I want to run in and explore! (For some reason I also respond to it better than the first name they chose.) Shelter staff say I am very resilient because I was found dumped with two other dogs but nothing has dampened my spirit. I love toys- romping around and sniffing all there is to smell. I'm very adamant about doing my business when I'm outdoors as I am very keen to claim the majority of trees out there :). I am very attentive to how the wind whispers through the branches and the bustle of little creatures in the bushes. I'm a dog that is always up for an adventure on dry land or on a beach! Sometimes I am quiet - but when I want to be near you I have a lot to say! I love seeing new things and listening to nice humans who give me treats. What do you say we give it a go? Do you think you could give me a chance and not give up when the going gets "ruff"? I don't want to be left behind again- I'm so happy I get another chance to find my forever person!
