He is super smart, loves to train, does great with other dogs and come on, have you seen that handsome face?! Slate already has a bunch of training under his belt, he knows all of his basic commands and then some. He rides great in the car and walks well on a leash, so he'll be requiring a home that will take him on all their adventures! Since Slate is so smart, he is going to do best with an owner who can keep up with his fast brain and continue his training. Slate does wonderfully with other dogs, but he'd also be fine as an only dog. He's very friendly to just about anyone he meets, he's just learning what to do with all that energy! Although Slate is a social guy, he doesn't enjoy being over handled or retrained. Because of this, he will do best in a home without young kids. This boy is truly a great dog, he just needs a strong owner who can set boundaries to set him up for success.
