My Story

Meet Slinky! The ultimate low rider with a zest for life and a "help yourself" attitude. We're guessing he's a Jack Russell/Bassett/Pitty mix, but honestly, he's 100% adorable and 110% personality. Slinky's got the heart of a sweetheart and the soul of a sneaker thief. Belly rubs? His love language. Squeaky toys? His obsession. Personal space? Never heard of it. Oh, and if you leave snacks (or socks) unattended? Let's say Slinky calls that a "finders keepers" policy. This happy-go-lucky guy is a pro at making friends--dogs, humans, you name it. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps like a champ. Plus, he's surprisingly quiet for a pup who thinks every day is a party. Slinky's energy level is set to fun mode, so he'd love an active family ready to keep up with his shenanigans. Sure, he could use some leash lessons and a crash course in manners, but with his food motivation, he'll be the star student of snack-based learning. Initially found in Texas after being abandoned (rude!), Slinky hit the jackpot with Paws New England. He's living the good life in New England waiting to bring his playful energy and sock-thieving charm to his forever home. Name: Slinky Breed: JRT/Bassett/Pit Mix - total guess!!
