Sluggo is a 3 year old, 72 pound Pit Bull Terrier mix. He's a big friendly fellow. We are working with Sluggo on leash manners (no tugs).
He is, unfortunately, on the Wednesday euthanasia list to make space for all the incoming stray and surrendered pets that are arriving daily. Adoption fees are $60, $30 or free. If the pet has been at the shelter more than 30 days, they are free. Check the INTAKE DATE on the adoption card to determine this. If the pet is 4 years of age or older OR if you adopt more than one pet, the fee is $30 for each pet. All others are $60. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 405-297-3100.
The dog/cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Use pet's ID # when inquiring.
