Meet Snickers! Snickers is a six-to-eight-ish year-old boxer mix (Don’t believe us? We’ve got the DNA receipts!) She came to the shelter in mid-June, where it was discovered that she was with child…9 of them to be exact. She went into foster care, where she had her puppies in a safe environment. All of her puppies have been adopted, so now it is momma’s turn. We estimated her age originally at 9, but we think her face may be prematurely grey (hey, it happens to the best of us) given that it would be unlikely for a nine year-old dog to end up pregnant. She’s probably in the six, maybe seven year-old age range, but we can never be sure. She is in a foster home with cats, big dogs, and little dogs – she is great with all of them. She does have some barrier issues (meaning, she does not like to be gated and will occasionally bark at animals on the other side of the gate). She is generally quiet during the day, and crate/house trained. Please contact her foster mom at [email protected] to arrange a meeting.
