Snoopy

Meet Snoopy, our lovable mastiff mix! He is under 2 years old. We first got him from a lady who surrendered four dogs, including Snoopy and his brother. At the time, we were already at full capacity, so they went outside to enjoy the warm weather in our outdoor kennels. Eventually, we brought them inside, but it was a rough start for all of us. They were scared and tried to protect themselves from us by growling and barking at us and even showing their teeth. With the help of some amazing volunteers and staff, we managed to bring them inside the shelter. From that day, we've been working hard to help them socialize with people. Snoopy is doing absolutely amazing, but he still needs someone who's willing to work with him. He does have kennel aggression, but once he's out, he's just a scared baby. His also still not as comfortable with the whole situation so he is not potty trained. Please consider being that special person to help Snoopy do better. He gets along wonderfully with the current staff but still fears those he doesn't know. He even does wonderfully with dogs. We still suggest meet and greets with dogs and even children for the safety of everyone in the house hold. Plus, snoopy is absolutely terrified of cats.
