My Story

5 reasons Snow is on Santa’s “nice” list: 1. Snow likes every dog she meets! Whether it’s a dog she meets on a walk, or her sassy chihuahua foster sister, Snow calmly greets them with a sniff and a tail wag. She’s non-reactive to dogs, people, and even doorbells, and has only barked a handful of times at her foster home. Quite rare for a husky! 2. Snow is great on a leash! She won’t pull or drag. And while she’s no longer the fastest walker at 9 years young, she regularly enjoys leisurely strolls up to 1.5 miles! 3. No house training necessary! This smart lady will go to the door when she needs to potty. And while she loves her toys (and likes to keep a pile of them by her bed), she knows that your socks or shoes aren’t for her. What a good girl! 4. This sweetie loves scratches and belly rubs, but she’s far from needy. She’s an independent lady who enjoys napping on her floof as you go about your business. No separation anxiety here! 5. Every time Snow’s out on a walk or at the park, she hears “Wow, what a beautiful dog!” Despite the endless shower of compliments from strangers, Snow has somehow managed to stay humble and grounded ? While Snow can’t get enough toys and treats, what she really wants for Christmas is a forever home! After being abandoned at a shelter as a senior, and then being a rockstar in her foster home, this Snow angel definitely deserves to have her dreams come true! ?
