Meet Socks : A Loving Girl Searching for Her Forever Home ??? LOCATION: Alabama, available w/transport to many states. This beautiful, smiley girl is Socks, and she’s so deserving of a family to call her own. Found as a stray in Alabama, Socks ended up in a high-kill shelter where her future was uncertain. Thankfully, her advocates reached out to RTH and we couldn’t say no to helping save her life. Socks is approximately 3 years old, weighs 49 pounds, and is the perfect combination of snuggly and playful. She’s a total couch potato when it’s time to relax but loves to have fun when it’s time to play! Socks is incredibly affectionate and even knows some commands. She’s housebroken, leash-trained, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Socks has formed a special bond with her foster’s son, showing just how much she loves being around people—she would make an amazing companion for any family. Socks is currently HW+ but has begun her heartworm treatment which we will continue to cover until completed.
