Sweet Sofie has a heartbreaking story as she was adopted from the Fort Worth, Texas shelter as just a little puppy girl. So cute and so adorable. Last year at almost exactly 5 years old, she was dumped by her owners as “too much responsibility.” This is no fault of her own as she is a wonderful gal. Sofie is now 6 years old. She weighs around 65lbs, but is more tall and lanky. Sofie is such a great dog with manners. She is crate and potty trained and knows her basic commands like sit and shake, never destructive inside or outside of the home, loves car rides and is nice and mellow and relaxed. Sofie would prefer to hang out with you at your home watch a good movie and have her ears and her belly rubbed! She is not a hiker or runner, but does enjoy nice leisurely walks and chilling in the yard. Sofie does well with all dogs, but she is pretty mellow so she won’t play a lot with others. Her ideal home would be a family or single person or couple. She could be an only dog or have a fur doggie companion. No kitties please. This sweet gal deserves a forever home where she is kept for the rest of her life as a loving family member!
