Sojo

Introducing Sojo! This sweet little lady has been failed THREE times already in her short life. It is hard to imagine how that could happen since she is only6 months old, but just goes to show you how bleak conditions are here in Texas for dogs. Sojo was found as a stray as a teeny tiny 12lb puppy, adopted returned 3 days later, adopted a 2nd time and returned by her 'family' to the shelter 3 months later because they were moving. When she was returned she looked awful with a bunch of hairloss and mange. And to top it all off her 2nd adopters actually requested she be euthanized!! If you are thinking to yourself...WAIT WHAT?! How can people be so cruel? Same! Her foster dad saw that she was on the euthanasia list at our local shelter and wanted to help her make it out alive. This time she deserves a good life and a family that won't give up on her. Per her foster, Sojo is a rambunctious little lightning bolt who loves chasing after squeak toys and transforming into a cozy cuddle buddy when playtime is over. She is a social butterfly, eager to make new friends and engage in endless playdates. She would be the perfect pup to take to a dog friendly brewery or join you on a hike and then pass out in some crazy sleeping position legs all tangled together in puppy cuteness. She rides perfectly in the car and plops right over for a snooze when you hit the interstate. Sojo is still working on potty and kennel training, but is picking it up quickly. Like all puppies she will need continued training to be the best Sojo she can be. The shelter had her listed as a Shar-pei mix and as of 9/21 she weighs 33lbs.
