My Story

Meet Soli, the ultimate cuddle machine and your new best friend! This sweet, squishy mixed-breed pup adores everyone he meets - seriously, he’s a people-loving pro. Soli arrived with quite the "dad bod," but our shelter staff and volunteers have shown him the joys of exercise and walks and he is trading snacks for steps. Soli was adopted right before the shelter closed, but is now having issues resource guarding the kiddos in the household. He loves them, but doesn't' want to share them with anyone else (i.e. the other dogs in the house). Having never had to live with other dogs, this busy family is a lot for him and they don't have the time to work on his behaviors. We think he may do best as an only dog, or with a chill friendly female companion. Soli’s got soulful eyes that could melt an iceberg and a tiny nubbin of a tail that wags so hard, his whole body wiggles like Jell-O on a trampoline. His favorite things in life? It's a toss-up between belly rubs and car rides. Seriously, this guy is the perfect passenger—he’s got road-trip buddy written all over him. When the shelter gets a little too much, a quick ride in the van is all it takes to bring his happy tail back to full wag mode. Soli has quite the prey drive and will probably do best in a cat free home. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, wiggle-powered bundle of joy, Soli’s your guy. Adopt him today and prepare for endless love, laughs, and wiggly tail wags! Soli's adoption fee has been sponsored, so all he needs is a loving home!
